HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

I made my mother a rug from used t-shirts.  The rug is made all by hand braiding.  My mom liked a rug I made for my house, so I made her one. Her rug is an oval, and smaller.

This is the original, a circle.

 I made this one by hand braiding strips of t-shirts and then zig zag sewing them together on the machine. It takes a lot of patience to sew. The colors are more distinct on this rug.

This is the close up of my mother's rug.  This one can be made all by hand, no sewing machine, but the colors end up being more blended. You can take this rug anywhere to sew and make. If anyone wants to know how to make this, I can add a tutorial.  Just let me know.
